Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Haristyle (doing business as Haristyle, a technology company incorporated in Singapore, "Company", "we", "us", "our") regarding your access to and use of the Haristyle mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

BY ACCESSING, DOWNLOADING, OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SERVICE.

1. License & Services

Subject to these Terms, Haristyle grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms.

2. AR & Virtual Content Disclaimer

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

• Entertainment Purpose: The Service uses Augmented Reality (AR) to visualize hairstyles. These visualizations are digital approximations. We make no representation or warranty that the virtual result will match reality.
• Variation Factors: Real-world results depend on numerous factors outside our control, including your hair type, face shape, the skill of your barber/stylist, and hair products used.
• No Liability forcuts: Haristyle and its affiliates shall not be liable for any real-world haircut decisions, outcomes, or "haircut regret" resulting from your reliance on the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

3.1 Subscriptions and Free Trials

We may offer subscription plans ("Premium") that unlock additional features. We may also offer a free trial (e.g., 3 days). If you do not cancel the trial at least 24 hours before it expires, you will automatically be enrolled in the paid subscription.

3.2 Payment and Renewal

Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your subscription willautomatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You authorize the applicable App Store to charge the subscription fee to your payment method.

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds

To cancel, you must go to your device's "Subscriptions" settings (Apple ID or Google Play Account). Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. As we do not process payments directly, we cannot issue refunds. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

4. Prohibited Activities Policy

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Data & Asset Scraping: Accessing, retrieving, or scraping any 3D assets, hair models, or code from the Service through automated means (bots, spiders, scrapers) is strictly prohibited.
• Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, or attempting to derive the source code of the App.
• Illegal Use: Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.
• Interference: Attempting to bypass security measures or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content (including but not limited to 3D hair models, glare assets, text, graphics, and code) are the exclusive property of Haristyle and its licensors. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Singapore and foreign countries.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HARISTYLE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; OR (II) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Haristyle and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws ofSingapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.

For International Users: If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction (such as the EU, UK, or United States) where local laws prohibit the application of Singapore law to you, then the laws of your country of residence will apply to any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be overridden by contract.
